Rescission
Below are the only events that would qualify you for a refund:
Within five (5) Calendar Days of signing this Bond Enrollment Form:
- The lease agreement is lawfully terminated; or
- Other arrangements satisfactory to the property owner are made; for example, placing a cash security deposit with the property owner in lieu of the DepositIQ bond; or
- You did not enter into the lease agreement, and never took possession of the apartment.
Instructions for a refund:
The easiest way to obtain a refund is to have the property owner or manager send DepositIQ a request on your behalf.
The request will need to include:
Your name, the property you have a bond at and the address we can send your refund to. If you paid with a credit card, we will credit the card back that was used in the transaction.
If the property owner is unavailable or unwilling to place the request on your behalf, send a request in writing to:
